The quality of third-party weather networks
Argentina's National Meteorological Service (SMN), 2021–2022. The SMN wanted to add third-party weather stations to its network without knowing the quality of their data. From the precipitation series of the national network, we calculated the radius within which each reference station is representative and built a web application that rates each third-party station as good, acceptable or poor. A joint project with the SMN, funded by FONTAR; the SMN and SINGULAR4 presented it at CONGREMET 2022.
Randomisation, enrolment and data for a clinical trial
A multicentre vaccine clinical trial, 2022–2023. We built the system that assigned each volunteer to their study group in a randomised, blinded way, and the web application with which the centres enrolled them. Then an application that downloads the study data from its electronic data capture platform, reconciles the clinical, immunogenicity and adverse event data, and produces the reports for the study team.
AKRIMET's thermal mapping software
AKRIMET, 2021–2023. It processes the data logger records of a temperature and humidity mapping, links each sensor to its calibration certificate and produces the protocol and the report: statistics per sensor, excursions, plateaus and mean kinetic temperature. In production at the laboratory, with each version approved by AKRIMET.
